Employment at the Museum

Part-Time/Seasonal Teachers 

The Hermitage National Landmark and Historic House Museum is looking for experienced certified teachers to help teach history to our school and after-school programs. School programs typically run from 9 am to 12 pm, Monday through Friday; after-school (Scout) programs usually run from 4 to 5:15 pm, Monday through Friday. Training will be provided. 

These are per diem positions, as teachers are called in when classes and groups are scheduled to visit the museum. Teachers are expected to work one to three days a month during our busy periods (October-December and March-June). A stipend will be provided; there are no benefits for these positions.
