Available Facilities
Located next door to The Hermitage National Historic Landmark (historic house) is the separate Hermitage Education & Conference Center (HECC), which consists of the late-nineteenth-century John Rosencrantz House and a 3,500 square foot addition built in 1999. The HECC contains the museum's visitor center, changing exhibition gallery, museum shop, and offices.
Within the HECC is Jaqua Hall, an elegant 1,650 square foot meeting and banquet room with an adjacent warming kitchen. Four sets of French doors open onto the 1,200 square foot, stone-paved Jaqua Patio. A fifth set of doors opens onto the Victorian Terrace connecting Jaqua Hall to the parlors of the John Rosencrantz House, which serve as the museum’s changing exhibition gallery.
Our facilities are located on five acres of beautiful shaded grounds. The Hermitage can host events on the landscaped grounds, with the historic house in sight for a unique atmosphere.
Our facilities are available for private parties and catered events through our exclusive partnership with Take Away Gourmet. [Learn more]
Jaqua Hall is also available for business meetings, retreats, and nonprofit group meetings that do not require the services of a caterer from Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, or at other times based on availability and contingent on museum program scheduling. [Learn more]
The historic Hermitage house is not available for rental at any time. Tours of the historic house, however, can be made available to guests at your event.
